A lovely & comfortable cottage, highly recommend! Owners very friendly & welcoming!

Amazing place. Lovely couple who run it, we had a very warm welcome. It's way out in the sticks so be prepared for very patchy phone signal. EE is ok, 2 bars of 4g signal. Your mileage may vary! I brought a 4g router for internet access and got 12mbps connection. Was good enough for remote working and youtube/internet access. We even brought our Alexa show and had no problems with connection. Plenty of parking for at least 2 cars and the little outside seating area catches the sun most hours of the day. You can walk round the well kept garden area, see the pigs, hens and sheep and walk through avenues of side by side trees. Truly tranquil, quiet and relaxing! We love it here!

Excellent cottage, immaculate, great hosts, quiet location.

Highly recommended for a nice peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation is first class. We went to Hawkstone Park Follies and caves which is a must see if you are in the area and its only about 20 mins from Oaks Farm.

,Spotless, welcoming, good location

Visited on Sunday 24 June 2018 as part of the open gardens trail raising funds for the Shropshire Historic Churches fund. We went from Petton as we were advised at a previous stop that it was a long way to walk, particularly in the hot weather. The gardens have developed by having a covered silver birch tree walk alongside a paddock containing some rare sheep and chicken pens. Closer to the buildings was another small field with a couple of small pigs - usefully a couple of labels by the fence gave details of their names , breeds and food likes!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Oaks Farm. We were greeted so very warmly by Jeff and Maureen, both of whom were very happy to show us their beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was extremely clean, the linen was crisp and smelt so clean and the towels were lovely and fluffy. We would highly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning very soon! Very friendly owners, with fantastic accommodation, within easy reach of Shrewsbury.
